Following the procedure, the face continues to age from its new, repositioned state. Incisions are placed where they can be concealed by the body's own lines and by hair. They typically follow the curve where the ear meets the face, go up behind the ear, and extend into the hairline. The precise length and path of the incision depend on the degree of correction required. A small, separate incision may be made under the chin. The surgical plan prioritizes hiding the final scar lines within natural folds to make them inconspicuous.

This procedure specifically addresses the lower two-thirds of the face—from the cheeks down to the jawline—and the neck. It corrects sagging jowls, deep lines from the nose to the mouth, and laxity in the neck. It does not directly alter the appearance of the eyelids, eyebrows, or forehead. Surgery for these upper facial areas involves different procedures that address a separate set of anatomical structures and concerns.

For a face and neck lift consultation, it is helpful to bring photographs of yourself from ten to fifteen years ago. These serve as a reference for your own facial structure, which is the basis of the surgical plan. Also prepare a complete list of all medications, vitamins, and supplements you take, along with details of any past facial procedures, including fillers, threads, or other surgeries. This information is essential for a thorough assessment.

The face and neck lift is performed in a fully accredited private hospital in Istanbul. The specific hospital is confirmed in your written surgical plan before you arrange travel. In the operating room with your surgeon will be the clinic's own anaesthesiology team and surgical nurses. An interpreter is also present throughout to ensure clear communication between you and the medical staff at all stages.
