Nothing until you choose

This site measures how it is used — which pages are read and which are not, whether a film is played. That needs something written to your device, and nothing is written until you have answered the bar at the foot of the page. Refuse and nothing is written at all, and the bar does not come back to ask again.

The measurement tags load either way, under Google Consent Mode with every storage signal denied, which lets them run without touching your device. That is what makes “nothing is stored yet” a fact you can check rather than an intention we state.

What is set if you accept

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, with the Meta Pixel arriving inside the container. Between them they set:

• _ga and _ga_… — Google Analytics, to tell one visit from another and one returning visitor from a new one. Two years.
• _fbp — the Meta Pixel, doing the same job on Meta’s side. Three months.
• Whatever else the Tag Manager container is carrying at the time. The container is the mechanism the two above arrive through and sets nothing on its own; if a third tag is ever added to it, this list is what changes.

The one thing stored either way

Your answer itself, under the name lin-consent in your browser’s local storage. It is not a cookie, it is never sent anywhere, and it is the only reason you are asked once rather than on every page — including when you refuse, because a refusal that is forgotten is a question asked again.

The one exception, and it is yours to trigger

Guest films from the clinic’s YouTube channel are held behind a still image. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play — and when you do, the player we load is youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set an advertising cookie. YouTube may still record the view under its own policy. The films the clinic published on Instagram are not embedded at all; they are served from this domain, so watching one involves nobody but us.

Controlling cookies anyway

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies for any site, and refusing them here costs you nothing because nothing here depends on one. If you want to look, the settings are under Privacy in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari alike.

Changing your mind, and what would change this page

Clear this site’s data in your browser and the bar comes back with nothing decided; answer it again, either way. There is no separate preferences panel, because a panel holding one switch is a worse way of saying the same thing.

And the rule this page is kept to: if the site starts doing something it does not do today — an embedded booking form, a chat widget, another tag in the container — this page is rewritten in the same commit, not afterwards, and the date at the top moves with it.
