Stem cell therapy uses regenerative cells isolated from your own fatty tissue. This concentrate of cells is then introduced into the skin of the face, neck or hands. The treatment aims to improve skin density, texture and elasticity by encouraging the body’s own repair mechanisms. The amount of fat available for harvesting, its quality, and the existing condition of the skin all influence the potential scope of the treatment. The response is governed by an individual's own healing and regenerative capacity.
The outcome of a regenerative treatment is not planned against a photograph, but against the patient’s own cellular baseline. Everyone’s capacity for repair is different, influenced by genetics, sun exposure, and lifestyle. For this reason, the same procedure on two different people will yield different responses. The goal is not to create a specific, predetermined shape, as with an implant or filler, but to stimulate improvement in the existing tissues. The plan is therefore built around what is biologically plausible for you.
Medical Aesthetics at this clinic
ResultsThese are medical aesthetics cases performed here, not all of them this operation — some include an uplift, which is a different procedure. Every pair is on the results page with its own description.

Lip Filler
A fuller smile, still your own
A measured lip filler result, judged against the rest of the face rather than a trend.
Lip Filler · Front
Defined and symmetrical
Seen head-on: balanced volume and a clean lip border, left and right in agreement.
Lip Filler · Profile
Soft, natural volume
In profile, volume that follows the line of the face instead of interrupting it.
Lip Filler · Side
Balanced from the side
A natural fullness and a graceful lip contour, seen from the side.
Under-Eye
A brighter gaze
The grey-violet shadow under the eye lifts; the gaze reads rested rather than tired.
Under-Eye · Hollow
The hollow evened out
The tear trough is supported gently; the dark ring opens and the tired look goes.
Skin · Hydration
Plump, hydrated skin
Dryness and dullness recede; the skin looks hydrated and alive again.
Skin · Even Tone
An even, smooth tone
Skin tone evens out; pigmentation and flatness give way to clarity.
Skin · Glow
A healthy glow
A glow that comes from underneath — the kind makeup cannot imitate.
Hydrafacial
Clearer, and calmer
Skin photographed before and after a course of Hydrafacial treatment.
Hydrafacial
Texture, close up
A closer view of the same treatment, where texture rather than tone is the change.
Ultherapy
Tightened without surgery
Focused ultrasound, which works on the layer a surgeon would otherwise lift.
The cells do not simply become new skin. Instead, they act as signaling agents, releasing growth factors that prompt the surrounding tissue to repair itself and function more efficiently. This is a biological process, not a mechanical one. The visible changes in skin quality are a secondary effect of this underlying cellular activity. Understanding this mechanism is important, as it explains why the skin’s condition can continue to evolve long after the treatment itself is complete.

Questions people ask
Answered as far as they can be answered in writing. Anything that depends on your own anatomy is answered by a surgeon looking at it.
What is the difference between stem cell therapy and fat grafting?
While both treatments begin by harvesting a patient's own fat, their purposes differ. Fat grafting, or lipofilling, transfers processed fat to restore volume. Stem cell therapy goes a step further by isolating and concentrating the regenerative cells from that fat. This concentrate is then used not for volume, but to signal existing tissues to improve their density and texture. The focus is on cellular regeneration rather than simple augmentation.
Where is the fat taken from for stem cell therapy?
The fatty tissue is harvested from an area where it is sufficiently available, commonly the abdomen, flanks, or thighs. The choice of donor site is made during the consultation and depends on your individual anatomy and the amount of tissue required to yield an effective concentration of regenerative cells. The harvesting is done using a liposuction technique designed to preserve the viability of the cells.
Is general anaesthesia needed for stem cell therapy?
The choice of anaesthesia depends on the extent of the fat harvesting and the areas being treated. The procedure may be performed under local anaesthesia with sedation, or under general anaesthesia. This is determined by the surgeon and the anaesthetist based on the surgical plan and what is most appropriate for your specific case. The decision is discussed and agreed with you well in advance.
How many sessions of stem cell therapy are needed?
The treatment plan is designed around an individual's skin condition and regenerative capacity. For some, a single treatment is sufficient to initiate the desired biological response. For others, a second session may be considered later to build on the initial improvements. The assessment of whether another treatment would be beneficial is based on how your own tissues respond over time, as the effects of the cellular signaling process unfold.
What should I bring to my consultation for stem cell therapy?
Bring a list of any medications and supplements you take. If you have had previous cosmetic treatments to the area, such as fillers or laser therapy, any details you can provide are useful. It is also helpful to have thought about your medical history, including significant weight changes or sun exposure. There is no need to bring photographs of others; the discussion will focus on your own skin and anatomy.
Where is the stem cell therapy procedure performed and who is present?
The procedure, from fat harvesting to the processing and injection of the cells, is carried out in a fully equipped operating theatre within an accredited hospital in Istanbul. The clinic’s own anaesthetist is present, as is an interpreter to ensure clear communication throughout. The specific hospital is confirmed in your written surgical plan before any travel arrangements are made.
