Op. Dr. Barış

Barış was born in İskenderun, Hatay, and graduated from Trakya Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi in 2013. He worked as a physician at Acıbadem Üniversitesi Atakent Hastanesi and Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi before his five years of specialist training in ear, nose and throat and head & neck surgery at İstanbul Taksim Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi — a high-volume clinical setting, as his CV puts it. He then served as an ENT specialist at Hatay Dörtyol Devlet Hastanesi.

His focus is the nose, function and appearance together: septorhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty and tip surgery. Around it sits the rest of the facial work — otoplasty, blepharoplasty, buccal fat removal and chin augmentation — and the non-surgical treatments, botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. The courses on his CV are the hands-on kind: two cadaver dissection courses and a rhinoplasty workshop in Istanbul. He speaks Turkish and English.
